Owners Ryan Huneidi and Kody Dexheimer saw a need to combine quality and reliable IT and AV services through their experiences with local business owners, restaurateurs, and construction companies. Together, they partnered to create Alpheento — a no-nonsense, customer-focused company that combines decades of IT expertise across the team with deep AV know-how to create streamlined, affordable integrations for clients across the St. Louis metro and beyond.
The video wall in a sports bar isn't useful without the audio system, the network behind it, and someone who can fix it on a Saturday. The mobile credentials at an apartment building are only as good as the intercom they're paired with. The conference-room AV doesn't matter if the Wi-Fi cuts out mid-call.
For years, the way these projects were handled was to hire three or four specialized vendors and hope they coordinated. They didn't. Projects went over budget, missed deadlines, and produced systems where each piece worked alone but none worked together.
Today, Alpheento is one team that handles all eight solution categories — access control, smart apartments, video surveillance, networking, structured cabling, visitor and package management, building automation, and audio/video. One project lead. One phone number when something needs fixing. One company that designed, installed, and now supports your building's technology.
We're headquartered in Maryville, Illinois, with day-to-day service across the St. Louis metro. Actively expanding our service area across the US on a project basis.
Built by people who've spent their careers learning what works and what doesn't in this industry.
Ryan is an Enterprise IT and AV professional based in Maryville, IL. His background is enterprise networking, access control, and integration work — the kind where the network, the door readers, the cameras, and the AV all need to talk to each other or nothing else matters.
Before Alpheento, Ryan worked inside enterprise IT environments where the wrong hop count or the wrong VLAN meant the whole project stopped. That's shaped how he approaches every install today — design the network first, layer the systems on top, document everything, and don't leave the site until it works end-to-end.
He co-founded Alpheento to run projects the way he wished vendors had run them for him: one project lead, transparent line items, no finger-pointing when something breaks. He's on-site for every consultation.
Kody spent years running IT and AV operations before Alpheento — help desk, system administration, project engineering, and vCIO work — so he brings the operator's lens to every install. He knows what's easy to support on year three and what turns into a monthly ticket generator.
Prior to Alpheento, Kody was at IBM working with enterprise customers on IT solutions for critical business challenges. He brought that playbook — repeatability, documentation, disciplined change control — to Alpheento, where he's now full-time and every project runs through it.
Outside work, Kody is on the golf course, at the bowling alley, or spending time with his dog Diggs.
Not slogans. The actual operating rules we follow on every consultation, every install, every service call.
We tell you what we'd install at our own building. If a cheaper system fits, we'll quote that. If something we sell isn't right for you, we'll say so — even when it means a smaller project.
Twelve manufacturer relationships. We don't install gear we haven't deployed before — but we do learn new gear when the project demands it. Either way, your install is done by people who know the platform.
Maintenance contracts include response-time SLAs and remote diagnostics across every system we install. When something stops working, you call us, not five different vendors.
Headquartered in Maryville, IL. Day-to-day service across the St. Louis metro. We travel for the right project — and we coordinate logistics so the install doesn't disrupt your operations.
Ryan and Kody launch Alpheento in Maryville, IL — combining decades of IT, AV, and integration experience across the team under one roof.
We install Salto, Allegion Zentra, Ubiquiti UniFi, RTI, ButterflyMX, and Q-Sys / QSC. Platforms we know cold from years of deployments.
Began portfolio-scale rollouts of mobile-credential access and resident-app platforms for property managers across the St. Louis metro.
Began traveling outside the metro for the right projects — multifamily, corporate, and government clients across the US.
Twelve manufacturer relationships across access control, AV, audio, networking, and display — the full integrated solution stack.
The platforms we deploy most often — chosen because they actually work in the field and because we know them well enough to install them right the first time.

The cables behind the wall. The label on every port. The firmware version on every device. The documentation we hand over at project close.
Free consultation. We'll come walk the space, listen to what you're trying to fix, and tell you what's possible — custom design, competitive pricing.
