By engaging Alpheento for design, installation, or support of building technology, the following terms apply alongside your written project agreement or service order.
Alpheento provides design, installation, and support of access control, smart-apartment, video surveillance, networking, structured cabling, visitor and package management, building automation, and audio/video systems. Specific deliverables and pricing are defined per-project in your written estimate or proposal.
Walk-throughs, written estimates, and integrated design recommendations are provided at no charge. Estimates are valid for 30 days from issue unless otherwise stated. Pricing may change if scope changes after the estimate is accepted.
Standard terms: 50% deposit on contract signing, 40% on equipment delivery, 10% on project completion. Larger or smaller projects may have different terms in the written agreement. Past-due invoices accrue 1.5% per month finance charge after 30 days.
Alpheento warrants workmanship for one year from project completion. Manufacturer warranties on installed equipment pass through to the customer per each manufacturer's terms — typically 1-5 years depending on the product. We coordinate warranty claims on your behalf.
Alpheento's liability for any claim related to services performed is limited to the contract value of the project to which the claim relates. We carry general liability insurance; a certificate of insurance is available on request.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes will be venued in Madison County, Illinois.
